PHBA ANNOUNCES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUDGES
TULSA - The Palomino Horse Breeders of
America (PHBA) offers the PHBA World Championship Horse Show July 10-21,
2007 in Tulsa, OK. The open and amateur show includes cash and numerous
awards on July 15-21. Open performance classes are for junior and senior
age Palomino horses. The amateur classes offered are for amateurs 19 &
over, Novice Amateur 19 & over, and Amateur Select (50 & Over) activities.
Many youths also participate in the open classes. Halter is offered in both
open and amateur and is split by the horse’s age. The horse show has a wide
variety of classes for all equine disciplines
The PHBA Western Hauler Youth World
Championship Horse Show is the showcase hosted exclusively for the youth (18
years of age and younger) in Tulsa, OK, July 10-14, Tulsa, OK. Divisions
are Youth Walk-Trot 5-9, Youth 13 & Under, Youth 14-18 and Novice Youth 18 &
Under. The Youth World Horse Show is non-qualifying and has a wide variety
of classes for all equine disciplines.

Youth World Championship Horse Show are Jeff Buck, Normal, IL; Tom Craun,
Basehor, KS; Gary Hersom, Jesup, IA; Terry L Goble Sr, Dalton ,GA.
Judges for the 2007 PHBA Sundowner Trailers
Amateur World Championship Horse Show are Kathie Crowley, New Hudson, MI;
Debra Jarvis, Valley View, TX; Linda Norton Neely, Oklahoma City, OK; Gary
Werner, Lees Summit, MO. These individuals will judge the Youth cattle
classes held during the World Championship Horse Show in addition to the
Sundowner Trailer Amateur Division classes.
Judges for the 2007 Open World Championship
Horse Show are Margo Ball, Fort Collins, CO; Dr Jane Ann Pruitt-Bagley,
Dimmitt, TX; Karen Watters, Logantville, IN; and Gary Reynolds, Millsap, TX
The judges will be pooled on the NSBA
classes as done in the past. There will be some classes where the judges
will be pooled to allow for two arenas as was done in 2005 for the first
time. In 2006 additional pooling was done in order to provide exhibitors
the opportunity to expose their equine athletics to as many judges as
possible. This will continue again in 2007.
Judges who are dual approved National
Reining Horse Association and PHBA will judge the approved reining classes.
