Another PHBA year is well on its way with the convention in the past; several APA's have started their show season, and the first world show entry payment should have been made. It's hard for me to believe the 2012 World Championship Horse Show is just around the corner.
Don't forget the new Palomino Bred classes added to the schedule for 2012. PHBA hopes this will give new avenues for our members, exhibitors, trainers, and breeders to help with their continued support of PHBA. This year you will see 19 Palomino Bred Classes added to the show schedule.

It is the hope of the PHBA World Show Committee that these classes will be so successful that we can add new divisions and age groups to the 2013 World Show.
Help us make this happen.
As most of you know, working with the PHBA youth is a long time passion for me and they hold a very special place in my heart. There are so many people working very hard to make this Youth World Championship Show the very best for our Youth and their families. There will be some fun, exciting changes for our PHBA Youth World Show.
- The Youth banquet will be moved up to Monday before the show.
- The show will start with the kick off bash "Super Bowl Challenge."
- Youth teams, divided up and showcased for the first time "Spirit Competition."
- Not only will the free Tournament Teams be able to win awards for competition on horseback, there will be a Spirit award too.
- Teams will get points tabulated on activities during the kick off bash and fun spirit events throughout the week.
- During the Farewell Bash, each member of the winning spirit team will receive a $250 Drysdale's gift card.
- The show will not be complete until we go out with a bang at the PHBA Youth World Show "At the Beach Farewell Celebration." On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm, put on your flip flops and help with the presentation of the Golden Horse Awards, meet the new Youth Board, music, food, and activities you won't want to miss.
