Youth President's Message
Dear Fellow Youth,
It makes me very sad that this is the final time to address y’all as Youth President. It’s unbelievable how quickly this year has come and gone. My role as president has certainly been an opportunity I will never forget. This past year has been filled with great memories with friends that will last a lifetime.
This month Katie May will be taking over the president’s position and I know she will do an excellent job! I have served with her on the board for many years and I’m very confident that she will pick up right where I left off and carry this youth organization on to do bigger and better things. I ask you to support her and welcome her with open arms. I would also like to thank my amazing Executive Board members Katie, Jillian, Sydney, Jordan, Madeline, Carla, Andrea, Alison, and Nicole. You all have been great and have always been there if I need you. Thanks for being so much fun and serving on my board!
I would also like to give out a huge thank you to Heather and Sabrina. Without these two ladies a lot of things would not be possible for our youth organization. They have bent over backwards to do whatever they can to make our youth events the best they can be. Both have done a great job guiding and helping the youth come up with ideas to further build this group into the best one ever. I’m very grateful they have been there for us, so I encourage you to take a few minutes to thank them for all their hard work.
The Youth World Show is finally here. I know I’m very excited to see all the new and old faces. Don’t forget to attend the Youth Kick-Off Bash with the Parade of States followed by the pizza party and Drysdales. I can wait to see everyone’s Fast Food creations for the Parade of States and Stall decorations. Also remember the National Youth Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22nd following the close of the show. This will be followed by the Youth Banquet and Benefit Auction. We plan to finish off our ongoing boot fundraiser as well as the week wraps up. Be sure you remember our sponsors. Without their support, the Youth World Show would not be possible. I urge all of you to either personally thank them or write them notes of appreciation.
I wish you all safe travels as you head to the World Show and other shows this summer. I’m looking forward to seeing you all in Tulsa soon! Best of luck to all!!
Happy Trails,
Libby Tudor
