April 2008
What would happen if a top expert with more than thirty
years of leadership and training
experience were willing to distill everything they had
learned about leadership and the
equine industry into a handful of life-changing
principles just for PHBA? It would
change our lives.
Brent Harnish our new Executive Director, is planning on
doing exactly that, his plans
include combining his insights learned from his
leadership successes and rapport building
skills, and combining them with his observations from
the equine world. The results as
they are accomplished will be delivered to all of you as
only a communicator like Brent
can.
We are on the threshold of some very promising
developments at PHBA and we are
poised for success. We plan on bringing to you the
members and affiliate leaders,
increased visibility of our association, as well as to
our friends throughout the equine
industry. Our charge will include the promotion of our
many programs as well as
introducing some new concepts that will encourage
members and affiliates to become
more actively involved in our association.
Brent brings to PHBA a treasure chest full of insight on
key principles that will assist us
as we continue to position PHBA with the equine
industry, utilizing many of the
strategies laid out in our 2007 Strategic Plan and
feedback received from you, the
members, through our member survey.
We are delighted that Brent has chosen to join the
family that we know as the PHBA. He
is only a phone call away and ready to provide counsel
and leadership as needed.
Brent’s sensitivity, his insight into human nature, will
blend to bring both a practical
functionality and a value-based integrity to all the
work he and the staff in Tulsa will
bring to PHBA.
His leadership ideas are masterful because his life and
thoughts are Master-full. Please
help me welcome Brent to Palomino Horse Breeders of
America.
Keep Smilin’…
