Hall of Fame Criteria

All nominations must be submitted in writing to PHBA along with any supporting documentation 60 days prior to the Committee meetings. Nomination may also come from the Committee itself. 

BREEDER: Individuals who have made major contributions to the Palomino Horse Breeders of America by breeding and raising outstanding horses over a considerable length of time. May only induct two (2) per Board of Directors meeting. 

EXHIBITOR: Individuals who are recognized across the nation as having had outstanding success at exhibiting and promoting Palomino horses and PHBA for a considerable length of time. May only induct two (2) per Board of Directors meeting. 

SERVICE: Individuals who have provided outstanding services of a personal nature to the betterment of the Palomino horse and PHBA as an organization. May only induct two (2) per Board of Directors meeting. 

HUMANITARIAN AWARD: Individuals who have provided outstanding services of a the horse industry which is humanitarian or philanthropic in nature. May only induct two (2) per Board of Directors meeting. 

BREEDING HORSES: Mares or stallions which have demonstrated through the accomplishments of their progeny, that during their lifetime made major contributions to the improvement of the Palomino Horse as a breed. These horses must be deceased. May only induct two (2) per sex per National Convention. 

SHOW HORSES: Any Palomino horse which has demonstrated in nationally recognized events that it exemplifies the true versatility, utility and spirit of the Palomino horse by its outstanding record of 
accomplishment in the show ring. These horses must be deceased. May only induct two (2) per sex per National Convention. 

RACE HORSES:
Any Palomino horse which has demonstrated in nationally recognized events that it exemplifies the true versatility, utility and spirit of the Palomino horse by its outstanding record of 
accomplishment in the racing. These horses must be deceased. May only induct two (2) per sex per National Convention.
