PHBA Youth Committee Announces New Award

Load your trailer with your showmanship horse, your rope horse, your barrel horse and your pleasure horse. The PHBA Youth Committee announces a new award for the 2010 Palomino Youth World Show. The YWS will showcase the first ever Premier Youth Exhibitor.

One youth will be awarded the title of Premier Youth Exhibitor. The new award compliments the current Golden Horse awards; however, this award allows a youth to showcase their abilities on a combination of horses. One award will be given to the Youth with the most points earned on combined horses.

The recipient of the Premier Youth Exhibitor will be awarded a trophy saddle and a $1,500 scholarship. Thank you to our youth committee and our generous sponsors for launching this award in 2010.

Registration and Transfer Special

Registration & Transfer Special

PHBA is reducing our registration & transfer Fees from January 1st, 2010, through March 31st, 2010 (postmark). Membership required to register or transfer ownership of a horse. After March 31st, 2010, PHBA will reinstate the regular registration and transfer fee schedule. All registration and transfer rules will apply.

** $35 registration fee for any age of horse**

It is our great pleasure to announce the formation of the Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to preserving the past, present, and future of the palomino horse and those who have dedicated themselves to maintaining and perpetuating the breed. The foundation was created as a way for you to make contributions that are tax deductible through a 501 (c)(3) entity.

New PHBA Chief Operating Officer announced

The Executive Board is proud to announce…..

Clinton ‘Trigg’ Rentfro has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of PHBA. Trigg will begin December 7, 2009.

Trigg is an accomplished horseman, holding judging cards in several breed organizations, as well as being an international ambassador for the Equine Industry. Please welcome Trigg as he begins the task of leading PHBA.

Trigg will have a message to the membership in the upcoming issue of Palomino Horses Magazine and newsletter.
