The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation Board had a board meeting and work days on January 28th, 29th and 30th. At the board meeting it was with regret that the resignation of board members Terry and Carol Goble was accepted. The board thanks this couple for the many contributions they have made to the board and the museum. They will continue to help the board, but will slow down a little to take time out to “smell the roses”.
The Board is very pleased to announce that Mimsi and Thomas Coon of Texas and Darrell Bilke of Oklahoma have accepted positions on the board. All are well known in the horse industry and will bring a lot of experience, expertise and ideas for the museum and the mission of the board.
Planning was done for the 75th PHBA Anniversary publication. More details will come during the PHBA Convention in Tulsa in March. New acquisitions were placed in the museum and plans made for the Heritage Evening on Thursday, March 12th at the convention. More details on the entertainment and Heritage Night will be forthcoming, so please keep checking regularly for news. If you have questions or ideas, please contact any of the PHBHF board and they will be happy to help.
