Palomino Horse Breeders of America Hires Shirley Stuart as New General Manager

[Tulsa, Oklahoma] – [11/4/2024] – Palomino Horse Breeders of America is thrilled to announce the
appointment of Shirley Stuart as their new General Manager. With over 12 years of experience in
the Equine Association Industry, Ms. Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team.

In this role, Ms. Stuart will oversee the day-to-day operations of the PHBA Office, manage the website,
and handle all breed registrations and horse show records. Her proven history with PHBA has prepared
her for this new role and will undoubtedly contribute to an ease of transition as the association moves
forward.


Ms. Stuart shared, “I am excited to continue my career here with PHBA and extremely honored that the
Executive Board has entrusted me with the opportunity to continue my work here with this association
and its members.”

Gene Ray Stewart, President of PHBA, expressed his enthusiasm about the new hire: “Shirley has been a
longtime member of the PHBA staff and is the obvious choice moving forward in her new role. I look
forward to seeing her grow and develop in her new position.”

Ms. Stuart stepped into her role with an official starting date of November 1 st .

Palomino Horse Breeders of America was formed in 1941 to collect, record, preserve the purity of blood,
and improve the breeding of Palomino horses. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the original concept began in
1938 due to the efforts of numerous dedicated horsemen and horsewomen. PHBA’s vision is “To
