Palomino Horse Breeders of America AnnouncesPHBA WORLD SHOW FINDS A NEW HOMETulsa, Oklahoma – May 17, 2012 – After nearly three decades in Tulsa, Oklahoma the 2013 PHBA World Show is moving to the Tunica Arena and Expo Center in Tunica, Mississippi.
PHBA has always been able to count on the same show dates for the world show until the last two years. With the contract expiring in 2012, show dates for 2013 moved into the second week of August.
The Executive Board felt with schools starting August 1 across the country, this date change would be extremely detrimental for the show. The continued change of dates is not good for the success of the world show.

2014 July 9-20
2015 July 8-19
These dates also will have a two day move in for the convenience of the exhibitor’s.
Tunica Arena and Expo Center – www.tunicaarena.comSize and versatility make the Tunica Arena & Exposition Center the premier event venue in the Mid South. The state-of-the-art facility is the largest of its kind in Mississippi, offering 48,000 square feet of climate controlled floor space and two additional covered arenas. An adjacent pavilion provides an additional 100,000 square feet, including 605 livestock stalls, showers, dressing areas and support services. With a seating capacity of 2,224 fixed seats and a maximum seating capacity of 5,500, audiences can comfortably view events from one of nine luxury skyboxes or our newly renovated 1,250-square-foot hospitality room, and enjoy meals served from our concession areas or from our banquet kitchen.Designed with convenience in mind, the Arena’s paved parking lot contains 1,100 spaces, with 400 overflow spots available and hookups for up to 70 recreational vehicles.
